WHAT IS THE YOUNG COLLECTORS CIRCLE?
The Young Collectors Circle, founded by curator and collector Nienke van der Wal in 2016, is a platform for starting collectors who want to explore the world of contemporary art but don’t know how and where to start. No worries. Through the organisation of studio- and art school visits, guided gallery- and art fair tours, salons with guest speakers and experts who are invited to talk about a specific theme (like art fairs, digital art, auction houses, photography, etc.) the Young Collectors Circle helps you with your personal search of the right piece of art.

Buying art is so much fun and not only for the rich and famous. On the contrary, It’s great fun to discover young and talented artists, long before they are recognized by the big institutions. Once you feel more confident you will love to chat with fellow collectors about their most recent purchase, with your favorite artists about their work and with passionate gallerists about the artists they represent.
The Young Collectors Circle focuses on a brand new generation of collectors used to navigate the internet to spot new talent and like to buy art. But maybe you need some help regarding basic questions such as:
